Sting - Fields of Gold - from his ‘Ten Summoners Tales’ - A&M Records Hauntingly beautiful - Sting singing Fields Of Gold with Dominic Miller - Guitar, Vinnie Coilutta - Drums and David Sanctious on Synthysizer filmed and performed at Sting’s English Lakehouse in ‘93. The whole album was filmed and played over 24 hours at his Wiltshire home. The music is beautifully played, with depth and soul. Dominic Miller is equally captivating as are all the musicians. A classic . Ten Summoner’s Tales is the fourth solo studio album by the rock musician Sting. The title is a combined pun of his given name, Gordon Sumner, and Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales character, the summoner. Released in 1993, it explores themes of love and morality in a noticeably upbeat mood. Sings’ knowledge of english is reflected in the lyrics. Ten Summoner’s Tales was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 1993 and nominated for the Grammy Awards Album of the Year in 1994.
