you read tabs from left to right like you read a book, so the left most number is at the top and its a 1 that means you play that string the high E string with a finger on the first fret, then next you play the B string on the second fret, G string 3rd fret, D string 4th fret, A string 3rd fret, E string 2nd fret, does that make sense? so this one would be…

so for this one, the left to right, you play the G string second fret, then the next number from left to right is the 3 on the B string, then you play the D string on the 4th fret, then you would play the A string on the 2nd fret, then you would play the B string on the 1st fret.
